Tamron has turned quite a few heads in the past few years by offering lenses that significantly undercut the prices of first-party options while still offering impressive performance and image quality. One such lens is the new 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD, and this great video review takes a look at what you can expect from it in practice.
Coming to you from Julia Trotti, this awesome video review takes a look at the Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD lens. It used to be that zoom lenses almost never went below f/2.8, but we have recently seen lens designs pushed to a new level, such as in this lens or Canon’s highly impressive 28-70mm f/2L. I have had the Canon for a while now, and it has so successfully blurred the line between prime and zoom that I can’t imagine myself ever going back to carrying a few primes given the massive increase in versatility and convenience, both coupled with impressive image quality. Tamron’s lens seems to follow a similar vein, offering what is arguably an even more convenient focal length range. Check out the video above for Trotti’s full thoughts on the lens.
